The topic for the Basic Training Group will be getting to know your computer screen, working with your Desktop, Icons and the Taskbar. Also have fun sprucing up your PC with backgrounds and/or screen savers. The Cambria Computer Club June 2008 Mac Users meeting will be held on Thursday the 5th in the Joslyn Center Conference Room at 2:00pm (doors open at 1:30). Rick Auricchio will discuss the new Adobe Photoshop Elements 6. In addition to demonstrating some of the program's new features, Rick will cover use of both iPhoto and Elements together. As usual, there will be an open forum prior to the main topic presentation, for questions and exchange of ideas. Have you got some music on Records and Cassettes you'd like to change into digital computer music or on to CD ROM ? At the June novice computer club meeting we will demonstrate how to do this. Demonstration will include which FREE software to download that will convert your old music. We will show how to convert old music to MP3 (computer format) and then how to burn it on a CD ROM to play on your car or home stereo. Come have fun learning how to do new stuff with your computer !!
